  • 1. What is SkyPoP?

    SkyPop is a mobile rewards and local loyalty program platform for leading merchants, brands, and venues. We combine mobile phones with near-field communication (NFC), smartcard, text messaging, and mobile app technologies to make it simple for retailers’ customers to participate in reward programs, access special offers, view membership accounts, and receive VIP membership services from their favorite local merchants and venues.

  • 2. How does it work?

    Participating merchants offer reward programs powered by SkyPop. Registered members receive a unique SkyPop mobile member number, which may be on a “cardless” NFC tag or plastic smartcard. Members who choose cards simply swipe the card at the merchant’s register or smartcard reader. Members who choose the cardless NFC option simply stick the tag on their mobile phones and tap it on the merchant’s reader device to earn points and redeems rewards. Both cards and tags are paired with your mobile phone number and merchant membership accounts so that they can be recognized and you earn rewards or receive special offers. The mobile phone doesn't even need to be turned on. Simply tap or swipe, earn and redeem. Members who use iPhone and Android smartphones can download the merchant’s app powered by SkyPop. The app delivers and displays points, awards, balances, and notifications about your membership. Additionally, Skypop services deliver offers, specials, bonus point opportunities, and messages from your merchant directly to your smartphone application. You always have the ability to change your member profile and manage your email preferences. For members with feature phones, SkyPop delivers text-based messages, award notifications and offers to your phone. SkyPop also manages your opt-in preferences for receiving text messages.

  • 3. How can I see my point balance and rewards?

    Your merchant membership point balance and reward summary will be printed at the bottom of every purchase receipt. Members can also opt-in to receive mobile text messages for offers and reward notifications. Members with iPhone and Android smartphones can download a branded mobile app to manage earned points, receive reward notifications, and access local in-store specials and offers from their favorite merchants.

  • 4. How do I join a program powered by SkyPop?

    You need a SkyPop mobile ID tag or card provided to you by a participating merchant, as well as a mobile phone number. Check with your merchant for program membership details.

  • 1. What is a mobile member ID tag?

    A tag electronically associates you with your mobile phone number and merchant loyalty program membership information. It uses low-level radio frequency to communicate with your merchant. No personal information or membership information is stored on the tag.

  • 2. Where do I place the ID tag?

    Anywhere that is easily accessible for you! The membership ID tag is a sticker that can be placed on your phone or under your phone cover for safekeeping.

  • 3. What information is on this mobile ID tag?

    Each member tag includes a globally unique identification number that connects your mobile phone number and merchant membership data. There is no personal or membership program data stored on the tag.

  • 4. Does the mobile ID tag interfere with my phone?

    No. Your SkyPop member ID tag uses low-level radio frequency waves (RFID) to transfer your ID number and does not emit any signals that could interfere with your phone's antenna.

  • 5. Can I use my NFC phone instead of the member ID tag?

    No. The use of NFC technologies in phone features is not the same as the RFID technology SkyPop uses to transmit and authenticate your membership through the store’s reader.

  • 6. Does my phone need to be turned on?

    No. Just tap the tag to the reader and it will transmit and verify your membership account number.

  • 1. Who can use SkyPoP mobile member services?

    Anyone with a mobile phone who does business with a merchant that uses the SkyPop platform.

  • SkyPoP and Jersey Mike's Loyalty Program

  • 1. How do I sign up?

    You need a phone number and a membership card or tag provided to you by a participating Jersey Mike's store. After registration, you simply tap the tag to a register reader to earn points and redeem awards.

  • 2. What does the program offer?

    Jersey Mike's loyalty program powered by SkyPop lets you view your membership point balance, receive reward notifications, earn bonus points, and access local store specials. You may also receive other member VIP services such as invitations, in-store point balance notifications and other exclusive benefits.

  • 3. Who manages my membership info?

    Jersey Mike’s. SkyPop provides the mobile ID technology, mobile app, and services behind Jersey Mike’s loyalty program. Program definition and details, including reward levels, point balances, offers, specials, and customer membership account information is determined by Jersey Mike's.

  • 4. What happens if I lose my mobile ID tag?

    Simply contact your local Jersey Mike's and provide them your phone number to get a replacement mobile ID tag.

  • 5. Who can answer questions?

    Please visit your participating Jersey Mike's stores. The manager has access to a membership help desk.

  • 6. Can I use the plastic barcode card and mobile app?

    Yes. Jersey Mike's loyalty program provides both card and card-less (SkyPop mobile ID tag) options to join. All membership services are the same. Once you have signed up, you'll receive a registration code to download the mobile app and opt into text messaging offers.

  • 7. Which stores are participating?

    Almost all Jersey Mike's stores participate in the loyalty program.
